The apartment was a bit bigger than expected and very comfortable. Everything was well thought out: night light in the bathroom (but too bright), toiletries in the bathroom were good quality, make up remover towelettes and cotton balls were an unexpected touch. Kitchen had everything you need to cook something up, including some seasonings. Plenty of counter space and ice in the freezer. Bed is a very comfortable and quiet king size. Didn't wake my wife with getting out of bed. We'll be checking for this place specifically on our next trip through Roanoke.

This is a great spot! It looks just like the photos and was larger than anticipated. There are a lot of nice touches in the kitchen like the snacks and lots of utensils to make meals as well. This is one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed in, it was spotless! The location is great, walkable to lots of great spots and we felt safe there too. The hosts are also great communicators!

Beth & Stephen were super friendly and responsive...made us feel very welcome. Great informative YouTube videos on check in and parking also, which help a ton if you're not familiar with the area. Booked the apt for my husband while he was on a work trip and he said the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and he slept like a baby. Will stay again for sure...looking forward to the next trip when I can stay myself!

Perfect apartment for our trip needs! Location was right in down town and walkable to everything and great restaurants and breweries. Check in was super easy and hosts very responsive and gave clear instructions. Apartment was extremely clean and stocked with everything you need. Bed was very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows! We took our dog and she was comfortable there too! We travel to Roanoke a lot and would def love to stay again!

My pup and I had a nice stay at Beth's Airbnb. The apartment is comfortable and spotless. Its in a walkable location with about 4 breweries and some restaurants within blocks. Its also a short drive to several hiking trails. I was there over the weekend so street parking in front of the building was available. Beth and Stephen provide easy to follow instructions on where to park and how to access the location. I recommend and would stay there again.

Beth and Stephen's place is lovely and well appointed. The snacks were greatly appreciated as I had broken my leg and was hobbling around with a walker. The only difficulty I had was making sure that GrubHub and Ubereats could find me. If you order, be sure you explain exactly which door and have the driver call if they have a problem. Otherwise, all was perfect and they were very attentive hosts who went beyond the call to assist me. When my daughter finally retrieved me, I got to see the lovely restaurants in the neighborhood and was so impressed by all of the cool amenities. Thanks so much!!

Exactly as described. Clean and roomy apartment with full kitchen and super comfortable King bed. Quality towels and great water pressure in the shower was another plus! We loved walking down to Big Lick brewery for a beer. The coffee shop around the corner looked great, will have to check it out next time. Very easy to park across the street. Beth and Stephen would answer any questions instantly. Highly recommended.

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and everything was perfect! Bed was big and comfy, the apartment was spacious and well stocked, and the location couldn’t have been better. Beth and Stephen are excellent hosts and easy to get in touch with. Great value for what you get - we certainly recommend staying here when visiting Roanoke!

What a gem! Great apartment and fabulous location - walkable to a few breweries and restaurants around the corner, walkable to Jefferson Center, and less than a 10-min walk to downtown and all it has to offer. We had everything we needed in the apartment. Rooftop deck was amazing at sunset! Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a weekend getaway or for a work trip. Parking was great - found a free spot on the street out front and didn't move the vehicle all weekend. Host was very communicative. Thanks for making our weekend one to remember!

We loved our stay at this airbb. The kitchen was great and had everything I needed to really cook a few meals. There was a really nice assortment of coffee, tea, and breakfast options. The living room and kitchen were flooded with natural light in the day, and the back bedroom with the king bed stayed nice and dark which was perfect for catching up on sleep. We had an easy quick time finding the next door rooftop which had impressive views of the surrounding mountains as well as an herb garden! In the morning I was able to walk and get fresh bagels and a smoothie. There were a bunch of walkable breweries with cool murals that we were excited to check out but we didn't get the chance. I would definitely stay here again!

This is my second time staying at one of Beth's AirBnB's in Roanoke! I travel here for work and Beth has been really accommodating and flexible with a last minute add-on day. It is clean, comfortable, and has all of the amenities you'd need in a 1 bedroom apartment for a short stay. It is well located with being a short distance to the downtown stores and right up the hill from breweries and restaurants. I'll definitely stay here again!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this cute, clean apartment. Wonderful location, walkable to downtown restaurants and activities. Also an easy walk to the Grandin area. There are several nearby breweries too! We had a great stay and will of course stay here the next time we are in beautiful Roanoke.

Easily walkable to downtown and right around the corner from a coffee shop, two breweries, a bar and a restarant. Very clean, except a couple of rugs needed to be washed. Parking is not "on-site" as described. There is free parking (2 hour limit) on the street, subject to availability. The free overnight parking area is across the street. I elected to use the public pay garage, which is only 500 feet away (approximately $8/day). Hot water for showering is limited at times. First day was fine, but ran out of water in about two minutes for one shower and four minutes for another.

Everything was spectacular! First time using VRBO to stay when visiting home. We will never go back to an over priced hotel again. The host was responsive and all the instructions were clear. Overall experience was a two thumbs up!

I recently stayed at this property and had a fantastic experience. The host was welcoming and very attentive. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We only stayed for the night so we didn’t really get to explore the neighborhood but from what we saw, it was very peaceful. We came to hike McAfee Knob which was just amazing and only a short drive away. I had a wonderful stay and would book again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and was in a great location. It was an easy walk to restaurants, museums, and shops in downtown Roanoke. We were visiting family, and it was nice to be centrally located, so it was a short drive to visit everyone in town. I would definitely consider booking it again.

The listing is accurate. We stayed 3 nights. We were able to park on the street out front within 1 block. I can tell at some times, on-street near parking can be a challenge. But the listing lists other places to park nearby. Plenty of room inside, especially for two people. Everything seems fairly new and in good condition. I would stay there again. Two nice breweries behind the unit, and a couple of restaurants within two blocks. Since it is on a busy street, you can get a little road noise during the week. Overall a very good value.

We had a wonderful stay at this downtown gem. The location is a five minute walk to all the Roanoke museums, and a host of restaurants are within ten minutes. Parking was easy. The kitchen was incredibly stocked and easy to use. And as a plus, our hosts recommended a couple of local hikes that we absolutely adored, which was above and beyond. We’ll be back the next time we are in the area!

Small, cozy, directly close to everything downtown Roanoke has to offer. Lots of natural lighting, cozy California King bed, and plenty of extra towels. Perfect for guests who know how to organize an efficient stay and easy to clean for those who know how to do it.

You couldn’t ask for better hosts!

This was a great place to stay during our weekend trip to Roanoke! Everything was spotless and the hosts were very friendly and proactive in their messaging. The apartment is super close to a few breweries and is also walkable to the museums and restaurants downtown. You can hear some intermittent noise from the street in the living room area when people are walking by, but nothing disruptive at all, and the bedroom is completely dark and very quiet at night. We were able to consistently find close free street parking for one of our cars, and we also used the campbell garage a couple blocks away for our other vehicle (currently $8/day). We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Roanoke!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was close to the center of town and many restaurants. We especially enjoyed the Pinball museum and several local breweries. Our hosts quickly responded to all our questions.

The stay was very nice! It's one of the most affordable options in Roanoke and comes with tons of amenities. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen came with all the tools needed to cook a nice meal. The only problem was that the walls are a bit thin, and you can sometimes hear people on all sides of you and outside if they're not careful. It never became a big issue, though, as we were still able to sleep soundly!

This place is just great. It is just as described. Other noteworthy info - the bed is comfy, snacks and coffee/tea in the kitchen are nice touches. Roof top is pretty cool. Stephen is a wonderful, responsive host. Would definitely recommend.

Nice place! Parking a problem especially with the dog free clinic down the road. Noisy neighbors above. It was a clean place. Two blocks behind it are some good places to eat and have a drink. Beamer’s had a great white sangria and tuna sandwich. Tuca’s had great tacos and a pumpkin spice margarita. If your a beer person the brewery is a good place to visit. The other two restaurants had full bar. Go out the door to the left and about 1 1/2 blocks there is a coffee shop.

We enjoyed our stat at Beth's place in Roanoke. It was nice to walk to a few of the nearby breweries and restaurants that she recommended. The place was in a great location and so clean and cozy for 2 people. Also within a close distance to some great hikes-20 min to the mountains! When we return to the atea, we will definitely check availability here before looking anywhere else.

What a lovely apartment in Roanoke! It was very clean and had everything we needed and more! We walked everywhere: downtown, breweries, restaurants, the greenway. Beth is a wonderful host. She is very helpful and responded immediately to any questions we had. Downtown Roanoke is blocks away and filled with great restaurants and there are several breweries within walking distance. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Everything went great with our stay here. Very clean and well maintained place. While staying here, it definitely felt like home. The location is perfect if you're looking for any type of food or drinks and parking is nice as well. Communication was spot on, and everything was as described. At night, it's nice and quiet, and we felt safe in the neighborhood.

Beth & Stephen are super responsive hosts. Was a good location for a quick stopover to grab dinner at Billy's & a show at the Berglund Center. The apartment was very clean & comfy. Is on a main street so you may get a little traffic noise at night like in the city but wasn't bad. Didn't get a chance to try the Brewery literally behind the place but looked super festive with lights on the patio at night. Will be back to explore the adorable downtown so close & hike up to the Roanoke Star.

You cannot beat the location of this cozy home away from home. The place included everything you could need for your stay and walking distance to just about anywhere downtown. Will definitely stay here again!

Convenient location, incredibly clean, and surprisingly cozy! We stayed one night with an early am departure for a sunrise hike. Anything you could want or need has already been considered and is there for you! Great location- within easy walking distance to several breweries and restaurants. Beth’s place was great! Only complaint would be the loud door to the outside of the building, but there were issues with the door at one point so that could be why it was so loud.
